Vincent Edward Scully was an American sportscaster.

He was best known for his 67 seasons calling games for Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers, which is beginning in 1950 .

The Los Angeles Dodgers are an American professional baseball team based in Los Angeles.

 Scully Born in the Bronx,in November 29, 1927 and grew up in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan.

His father, Vincent Aloysius, was a silk salesman and his mother Bridget was a homemaker.

After serving in the United States Navy for two years, Scully began his career as a student broadcaster and journalist at Fordham University.
